Cooling Mode:

Heat Absorption: The indoor unit absorbs heat from the indoor air, cooling the living space.

Compression: The refrigerant is compressed, increasing its temperature.

Heat Release: The hot refrigerant releases its heat into the outside air through the outdoor unit.

Expansion: The refrigerant is expanded and cooled, ready to absorb more heat from the indoor air.

ASHPs have a high COP, meaning they can produce more heat output than the electrical energy input. For example, a COP of 3 means that for every 1 kWh of electricity used, the system produces 3 kWh of heat.Over the course of a year, ASHPs maintain high efficiency, even in varying weather conditions.


Environmental Impact:

By using renewable energy from the air, ASHPs reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions.Modern ASHPs often use eco-friendly refrigerants like R290 (propane), which have a low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP).
